To all the MAGAs bitching that we don’t owe anything to Ukraine…
On December 5 1994, at a ceremony in Budapest, Ukraine joined Belarus and Kazakhstan in giving up their nuclear arsenals in return for security guarantees from the United States, the UK, France, China and Russia.

@Chris_ArnoldNPR Excellent piece, @Chris_ArnoldNPR I wanted to share an article I wrote with a proposal for helping to restore confidence in elections: https://t.co/Vqon45FL7Q

@RichardHaass@RichardHaass Heard your interview on NPR today—thought provoking, and I’ll have to read the book. Along the lines of civic responsibility, see my article here on a modest proposal to help improve election integrity through mandatory poll duty. https://t.co/Vqon45GiXo
@AlanSimon14 (my dad) got his article on election integrity published! I semi-dispute the take, which made for a fun battle at the kitchen table, but it’s articulately argued and a potential solution to a fundamental problem moving forward. https://t.co/3yKvi7GtGJ
@LenSimon2 I was on a flight with Ernie D from Hartford to Buffalo the day after the Celtics played the Buffalo Braves at the Hartford Civic Center in the mid 1970’s. Saw him play the night before, then flew with him and the rest of the team (Bob McAdoo et al) to Buffalo.
