it’s wild that if kawhi leonard is on your team you’re either gonna win a championship or watch him sit on the bench in street clothes during the playoffs those are the only two options
Just go to a state school. The premium you're paying for elite private colleges vs. the better public schools is for social clout and not the quality of the education. And that's worth a lot less now that people have figured out that elite higher ed is cringe.
Red Sox traded Mookie Betts in the year 2020, with the promise it would make the organization better in the long run, and ultimately make sense.
Four years later….
Pitching prospects are scant.
Targeting top free agents is strictly forbidden.
And the Great Depression of Red Sox baseball rages on…
No NFL execs get to do the “ahh we loved Brock Purdy, almost drafted him” schtick because they all had 7+ chances to draft him and didn’t. But the Steelers LITERALLY PICKED A DIFFERENT QB IN THE 7TH ROUND OF THE 2022 DRAFT WHEN PURDY WAS AVAILABLE (Chris Oladokun, 241st overall)
Ravens biggest cap hits for 2024:
Lamar Jackson: $32M
Ronnie Stanley: $26.1M
Marlon Humphrey: $22.8M
Marcus Williams: $18.7M
Man, this doesn't look good at all.
Chiefs 17, Ravens 10 Takeaways
1) The Ravens offense didn’t show up, and nobody escapes blame.
2) It starts with the OC. Todd Monken abandoned the run from the jump. He made no adjustments that worked. Might have been his worst called game.
3) Lamar Jackson had a couple heroic plays, but outside of that was off on the deep ball. He was sack-stripped early, and then the backbreaker was the INT in the end zone.
4) The offensive line got bullied.
5) Zay Flowers was one of the few WRS to show up, but he let his youthful inexperience show with a taunting penalty and cutting his hand in frustration. He fumbled at the 1-yardline. Killer.
6) The team was undisciplined all day. They had five 15-yard penalties.
7) Speaking of penalties, the refs were completely one-sided. A lot of calls were correct. It was the call they didn’t make against KC. It favored the visitors most of the day.
8) The defense started off very shaky, but clamped down. Giving up 17 points to Mahomes and Co. is nothing to be mad about. Eventually the unit broke in the end, but it was bound to happen with no offense going on the other side.
9) Kyle Hamilton was a standout all day. He’s special.
10) When two heavyweights are going head-to-head, it’s your superstars that make the difference. Mahomes and Kelce made plays. Ravens didn’t.
11) This is a heartbreaker for Baltimore. Everything was right in front of them. Home game. More complete team. It’s gonna sting for a while.
Pat McAfee is spinning wildly to not get blamed for this Aaron Rodgers fiasco.
No.
You don’t get to promote and benefit from your proximity to Rodgers then back away when his wacko conspiracy theories destroy your credibility.
Pat McAfee continuing to pay Aaron Rodgers millions in appearances fees to come on his show and say controversial shit while Pat and AJ Hawk giggle like school children is one of the saddest media displays i've ever seen
Alex Smith just made excellent points about Tom Brady’s “the NFL is worse” take while side-swiping two former Patriots and accidentally obliterating a former head coach of the Jets AND Bills. Immaculate television.
