For anyone having slow update speeds for #MW2 on PC through @battlenet. Try this fix, it worked for me!
(1) pause the download,
(2) set the "Latest Update; KB/s to 100 kb/s,
(3) starts the download,
(4) wait like 5-10 sec.
(5)Then write "0" instead of 100 kb/s.
