Exactly 1 year ago i released my debut album ‘The Motions’
So many life changing things have happened since
- i was the first ever act to perform at masshouse and it was completely sold out!
- The bra era began 🤣
- Multiplied my fanbase tenfold (or more)
- Had the third most streamed album of 2024 on Kenyan Spotify.
- One of the songs on the album has more than 13 million views
- Performed alongside Burna Boy 🤯
- I have headlined so many shows and events in a way that was probably unfathomable before
It really takes me back to the years of struggling, the long hours of depression and hopelessness. The days when i used to wonder if i would make it if i would have to cut my dreads and go back to the legal profession😮‍💨
But here we are millions of ‘The Motions’ streams later and i owe so much to all of you. The fans, the event organizers who have booked me, the corporate partners i have had and most of all the people who have held me down, my friends and family ❤️
The wildest thing however is we are just getting started. I am so excited to continue this journey with all of you.
