@barnsley_nats A few sightings from Boylins, Gilroyd reedbeds today: 2 dock bugs, I think, 1 golden-bloomed grey longhorn beetle, mullein moth caterpillars, 2 broad-bodied chasers, 2 holly blue butterflies, several common blue and a handful of painted ladies.

Remembering the late, great and still very much missed Roy Powell on what would have been his 61st birthday today.

Roy was capped 19 times by Great Britain and played in all nine Tests on the 1988 and 1990 Lions tours.
