I get the "you shouldn't undermine the Court's institutional credibility" takes, but that ship sailed when the GOP got eight years in the WH and five SCOTUS seats despite the majority of the American people rejecting them and the R senators who confirmed their nominees.
We cannot and we will not allow an out of control Supreme Court working in conjunction with Republican officials pushing an extremist agenda to take away our freedoms and our personal autonomy.
INBOX: New York Progressive Action Network, a statewide organization with ties to Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign, rescinded its endorsement of Rep. Adriano Espaillat and is backing @DarializaforNY for NY-13 instead, over disagreements over AIPAC and Gaza
We desperately need a liberal voice like this right now. There’s not a single big name liberal figure that is willing to call out the media like this. Please keep doing this 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I can't access it yet. He says from this excerpt: “The worst of the rumors we’ve all heard are not true.” What does that mean? What are the rumors we've all heard that are not true?
In law school, we were taught to "draw the sting:" if we knew a witness had bad news for our case, then we should get in front of it and present it to the jury in the least damaging way possible before opposing counsel could do so.
If any dems have this oppo, drop it now.
And let's say Platner does become the nominee before the Oppo drops, which seems likely. Better to beat him up now, in the early summer, than let Republicans throw a Democratic-party-encompassing bomb in the Fall, no? Beating him up now reduces Republican-planned salience later.

@magi_jay The reason we're all beating the drum this hard is that we know there's worse out there, and the GOP is going to drop it as soon as he's the nominee.
I don't want Talarico, Brown, or Peltola having to answer potential rape/SA charges because of this prick.
A lot of us have heard the OPPO. We've also heard that the GOP plans for a Fall dump. Post-ME-Primary. After Dems tie themselves to the guy. What would you do in this situation? Personally, I'd try to find a way to remove the liability. Or at least seize narrative control pre-GOP
This doesnt matter because I dont live in Maine but I have a regular who is a huge bernie fan and when Platner came on the scene he was all about him. He just, unprompted, told me that he is done with Platner completely. 🤷♀️
