2026 Trading Guide

This is bare minimum but should help you:

1. Clear entry model (simple if price does this, I will do that)

2. Create a journal (notion / tradezella)

- Journal every trade (entry, exit, reason, emotions)
- Daily / Weekly gameplans (make these at the start of the week and the start of each day.
- Daily / Weekly reviews
- Monthly / Quarterly recaps (Determine your winrate / avg. RR)

Remove what doesn’t work and DOUBLE down on what does…

3. Risk management

After journaling for a bit you’ll learn your highest probability days vs low probability days
- Define this and know when to risk 1% or 0.5% per trade

- Daily loss limit (recommended 2 losses per day max)
- Weekly loss limit (recommend 4 losses per week max)
- Risk to reward (1:1 / 1:2 / 1:3 etc.)
(whatever works for you based on your monthly / quarterly reviews)

4. Psychology / Discipline

- Trade ONLY during active sessions (Asia / London / NY AM or PM)
- No trading when emotional, tired, hungover (mainly for me), distracted, etc.
- No FOMO entries
- Accept boredom as part of the job

Most important:
- Judge your success by execution quality, NOT P&L
