already up 20% on this new position after waiting patiently for a technical entry while pouring over their fundamental picture
people who think technicals are useless should try COMBINING technical indicators with fundamental / sentiment /macro indicators too ๐
@alonewolfchen@mikealfred Nope, the trades are done on trade date ("T") with the current price and only the settlement of it is later. The statement is simply wrong.
@packyourbagson@mikealfred Nobody as the statement is simply wrong. The trades are done today, only the settlement of it is later, as it is for normal on exchange trades in stocks.
@mikealfred No ETF issuer wants to have market price change risks. Only the trading affects the price, not the settlement of a trade. The settlement process must be transparent, depending on the exchange if we speak about the ETF shares and on the prospect, If we speak about the underlying.
@mikealfred "T" means trade date, thus the trades are already done and they are already reflected on exchange or OTC. There's no price impact on (intended) settlement Date.
