@sama@OpenAI Rate limit reset is a scam, only users that have used up their weekly limit more than pro rata actually benefit from it.
Openai can just look at the usage send one when it is actually beneficial for them, while people applaud them…
@thsottiaux Honest question, what is the value of this reset if your new refresh date also gets extended to 7 days? I mean you could actually have a disadvantage for users that actually had more limit per day left for their remaining days. You have now reset it to 14% per day basically

@elonmusk@sama guys please make a collapse all button in ai chat, that can show me all my questions in that specific conversation, and I can open the answer section I was looking for in the long chat. thnx
Can someone please answer this: if it’s the same fee, why would spammers and data-adders want to move to OP_RETURN? Because moving there gives nodes the opportunity to filter out their data. I assume they don’t want their data to be filtered out? @theonevortex@Excellion
@theonevortex@Excellion Sure but I assume with the right set of rules/structure, majority nodes and miners could exclude those players. If that is what majority want to do with those players. But maybe they bring in a lot of fee and use cases and majority decides differently.
@theonevortex@Excellion Also it feels like people don’t want to facilitate this use case for bitcoin. And rather want these activities to be shut down. That is a philosophical discussion.
@theonevortex@Excellion Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I have to say, with the commotion, I wonder whether it’s good for Bitcoin to push a change that is “only one step”. Despite the technical truth, which obviously people disagree on.
