Have you ever watched someone while they’re doomscrolling?
They are absolute zombies. No emotion. Don’t remember what they watched 10 seconds ago.
I was in Patagonia this year, and my phone died on a 4-hour bus ride. Had nothing to do but sit and observe…
Saw grown men watching brain dead Tiktoks for all 4 hours. No emotion. Nothing.
And this is with their kids trying to talk to them…
Shit makes you a zombie. Pay attention to how you feel next time you scroll, and afterwards ask yourself, is this how I want to spend my time? My existence?
Do you want to spend the next hour in a comatose state dumbing yourself down?
Fucking pathetic.
Wake up and use your time productive.
You never want to be completely one thing.
If you are completely one thing, then you are nothing.
It’s like a frat boy. They can be cool, but everybody knows thee frat boy.
It's 100% their identity.
You can predict what they will say & do (because they don’t think for themselves).
They don’t have a personality; they completely take on an identity to fit in.
This applies to every stereotype, especially in politics (think far right/left).
Don’t be a frat boy; be YOU.
You should strive to be a 1 of 1, don’t lock yourself into one identity or way of thinking.
If you have a personal brand, this is the best way to stand out.
I've never met a lucky pessimist, but I've met tons of lucky optimists.
If you want to know if something works, simply look at the quality of life they each live.
Choose wisely
You need to be homelessmaxxing this summer…
-Leave your house at sunrise, don’t come back till sunset.
-Work outside (parks, cafes)
-Barefoot and shirtless
-Workout midday
-Long walks
Watch your creativity and energy skyrocket with this routine.
The main goal with money is to not think about money.
Be able to go where you want, eat what you want, do what you want, without thinking about it.
One of the most freeing feelings in the world.
If you live in a quality city in the US, you're looking at a minimum of 10K.
Or...
You can book a flight to SE Asia/South America and live this way for 3K a month. Easily.
Find a way to make a few grand online and live freely.
I love SE Asia, but LatAm is much better to nomad (especially if you're American).
Longer visa stays, cheap prices, time zones synced up.
And anyone who's been to both knows the women don't even compare. Latinas all day
SE Asia for vacation, South America for living
If you just graduated from college and started your corporate career, find someone 10-20 years into that exact role.
That’s your future. It’s like looking into a mirror.
I had this realization a year into my career…
Most were fat, had no social life, no hobbies, and no spark.
Devoid of all life & ambition.
I quit 6 months later.
“But I won’t end up like that, I’m different”...
Yeah, go have a conversation with them, and they will tell you they said the same things.
Your life is a game of inputs - what you put in, you get out. And there isn’t much more impactful than what you spend 40+ hours each week doing.
If you don’t like what you see, you need to make a plan now.
If not, you’ll blink, and you’ll become them.
If you spent all the time you do watching “how to” videos as actually doing the task, you would’ve already achieved your goal.
You don’t need another video telling you “the best” way to achieve X,Y,Z.
You need to spend more time alone with your thoughts, no distractions.
People are constantly distracted with their phones, social media, etc…
Spend a minimum of one hour with no distractions every day (bonus points if it’s in nature)
If you’re a guy in the weight room 5-6 days a week, that’s cool, but there’s better use of your body
Spend 2-4 days learning a martial art (BJJ, Muay Thai) and 1-2 days in the weightroom (full body)
Knowing how to fight gives you real confidence (and you’ll get shredded)
@jackmoses0 When your life is meaningless, you need more sleep. When I’m passionate about something, sleep doesn’t even cross my mind. I just want to create
