A mayoral candidate here in Richmond on the other side of the aisle of me had a very...interesting... answer to a human rights question. “I’ve heard more about animal rights [in the Statehouse] than human rights. It’s a Statehouse issue, not a Richmond issue.” (1/?)

Did you blame him for the Charleston Church shooting? Nope.
Not a single person blamed Obama for the 24 mass shootings that happened during his administration.
What changed?
Dang. I thought after the shooter’s name wasn’t really publicized in New Zealand the media had reached a collective understanding that headlines like this are harmful.
