@TrueGamePod@owenthfc__@richarlison97 Ha, and according to a number of reports, Pardo was the closest potential Gakpo replacement.
Scam £100m from Spurs, beat them at their place, cause the Ndiaye deal to fall through. Spurs are back! #THFC#NUFC
@BetWrightUK@Plettigoal A year building confidence, developing and he will be welcomed back with open arms on Tyneside! Still popular with fans, but I think everyone realises this is the best move for the immediate future.
@swinburne_mark You can talk all day about his ability - up there with the best with the ball at his feet - but one thing that always stuck with me was his sliding tackle.
Come from behind the player, hook his leg round, taking the ball under control and getting back up to attack. #NUFC
@Seelsya_@jamiereuben@PIF_en Don't think there were any fans who weren't concerned/apprehensive, but to then go and just give them abuse on here was just moronic.
No issues whatsoever with any who had reasonable concerns and could express them without resorting to insults.
I hope some of the whoppers on here that were slagging @jamiereuben, @PIF_en, Wilson and Hopkinson off for ruining the club less than a month ago feel suitably stupid, and are going to be equally effusive in their apologies.....

@DavidTa41816701@jamiereuben@PIF_en Unless they said we weren't signing anyone, kicking off halfway throughthe window seems premature?
Something needed to change with Howe/backroom team. Again, the owners, Hopkinson/Wilson deserve credit for the work to identify/recruit, Just like transfers have been.
@JVBurnerNUFC Yeah, his tile has changed to asst head of scouting from Senior Recruitment Executive, which it was last summer.
Would indicate to me that he does the scouting work, and provides data/reports, but has no actual negotiation or say after that.
@LukeEdwardsTele Shouldn't need to defend yourself. It isn't done and ink dry yet, and we've been burnt before by thinking it was. You'd get dogs abuse if you had been saying it was done, and then someone else got him.
Thankless task where you can't win.
@Im_RobM@lee_ryder In Lee's defence, it isn't done yet, and while it likely will get done, we have been here before and still not got our man.
If he came out and said it was done now, then Pardon joined someone else, he would get dogs abuse for that too. Literally can't win.
@AvfcSims He was great in the season we won the cup, but a large part of that was he, Bruno and Joelinton complimented each others games and worked together.
When one or both of Bruno and Joe were out, he looked lost. In today's market, he is probably a £50million midfielder. #NUFC#THFC
@Nufc__Tom@Sambonufc He's played 138 games. Barnes got 5 assists incl. Champions League. Pardo will hopefully do very well if we sign him. Nothing against him. He will be used as a striker, or wide tucking in to allow the full backs space to deliver and a key part of the creativity.
@Nufc__Tom@Sambonufc In the Prem so far, assists have been from Woltemade, Wissa, Osula and Dedic. 2 of those 4 were playing in the 3 behind the striker.
We are signing a new attacker cause we need an attacker. The £60m attacker isn't creative btw. 13 assists in his whole career.
@Nufc__Tom@Sambonufc You realise the entire setup on the ball by Jaissle is for the fullbacks to provide creativity, width and delivery into the box? The wingers tuck in more centrally.
That Dedic is more of a threat just shows the team are understanding the tactics and setup. #NUFC
@mikepitt84@Chelsearory@AdamMcKola Wouldn't waste too much energy on @Chelsearory. He demonstrated his level of football knowledge and insight when he declared Haaland wouldn't be able to cut it in the @premierleague and would flop.
I'd forgotten more than he has ever known by my 10th birthday. #NUFC
@TalkOnTheToonNU He really doesn't suit Jaissle's set up on the ball. Wingers tuck in and fullbacks provide the width. Murphy's biggest strength is his crossing. Cutting in to be more central when we have the ball makes him ineffective.
