For the past couple of months I’ve spent hours in the morning studying, reading, getting ready for my masters. Then would have a whole day of work.
Needless to say I’m excited for my first long holiday hiking in the Lake District starting tomorrow!
I just completed #CryptoZombies Lesson 2! My zombie ate some #CryptoKitties, and I learned more about #Ethereum development. Watch my zombie battle more CryptoKitties: https://t.co/fy56HA7kQY
Really enjoy reading The Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. So much detail in a compact narrative. Curious to know just how much Bill had to remove in his earlier drafts in order to fit all this knowledge.
Really enjoyed this course. Learned a lot despite working with JavaScript for almost two years. More courses/books/workshops should be taught this way. Kudos @Mappletons and @dan_abramov. I hope to see more content like this. 🎉
Accidentally stumbled onto @Apple’s Maps Flyover feature. Wow that’s impressive; was really cool to see my childhood home rendered in detailed 3D on a phone.
Did you know that Math.max() < Math.min() in JavaScript?
It's a fun fact about the language that is periodically brought up, but do you know why this actually happens?
Let's take a quick look at Math.max and Math.min to understand the issue.
A thread.
@kvlly What should you do if the project/idea/unique selling point you’re working on has just been released/announced by a major company?
Do you still go ahead with it or is it back to the drawing board to find another startup idea?
"I have a good gist of what's going on with JavaScript, but I struggled to explain the basics, simply because I never looked inside the JavaScript engine."
