America coming together to root for the Lions in the NFC Championship to keep us from having to watch Brock Purdy throw 30 checkdowns in the Super Bowl
@docskalski Vegas would be ideal in comparison. Are we always gonna be stuck there? Can we escape Chicago in November? I mean I know we all like the dark but we are the least depressed specialty I know of… so o don’t get it. Never have.
@ClementLeeMD Lol. Absolutely. Nothing wrong with it either. Get them out ASAP. They aren’t getting paid (they are paying a fortune). They have plenty of to study outside of the hospital, and unless I’m going to give them a lecture, they should “bounce”.
As the atrocities committed by Hamas become ever more horrifyingly clear, it can seem too painful to endure. But we cannot and should not allow ourselves to look away. These grotesque crimes were designed to dehumanize and desensitize. We owe it to the victims to bear witness—so that we can unite against terror and do everything we can to ensure this is never repeated.
@dr_cellini They say secondary providers reduce medical system expenses, but it just can’t be true. Just the radiology ordered alone has to make up for an attending MD/DO salary?! I’ve never been able to understand the logic
@huntercdurham I hope you are right. Ours are 17mo apart. 3mo and 20mo right now. It’s a beast of a day every day. I hope they enjoy each other every day of their lives 💜
@bevo1212@northwoods1980 Agree with the imperfect system, but why the tendency to lean towards overcalling. Why can’t we describe the “most likely” rather than the tendency be to describe the least likely thing - and make no distinction. This is where “clinicians” get frustrated w rads.
