Today, we’re publishing major new research into financial literacy in the UK and what we can do to improve it in schools and beyond.

Too many people are navigating saving, borrowing and planning for the future without the confidence or knowledge they need, and many associate numbers with anxiety rather than opportunity.

The report also found several striking gaps between groups, including women consistently underperforming men on financial literacy across every age group. We’ve got to fix that.

KASPAROV: Dictators always lie about what they've done, but very often tell you exactly what they're going to do. Mein Kampf was published in 1925, and it was a blueprint. Nobody took it seriously in 1925.

In 2005 Vladimir Putin, already in his second term as Russian president, in control of Russian nukes and enormous amount of money, addressed Russian Duma and Senate. He said bluntly, "The collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century."

Vladimir Putin made it very clear then, and for those who didn't want to hear him saying it in Russian in Moscow, he repeated it in 2007 at Munich Security Conference, looking straight in the eyes of Bush 43 and all other leaders of free world.

For those who couldn't hear him, the next year he attacked Republic of Georgia. So Vladimir Putin's goal was, is, and will be, and there's no indication he's changed it, to restore the glory of Russian Empire, which means to push NATO back to 1997 borders.

That was a part of the ultimatum that Vladimir Putin laid down back in 2007 and put again on the table in December 2021. Ukraine is the main target now, but it's not the ultimate goal.

The problem is Europe still doesn't want to recognize it. We're still talking about hypotheticals. This is not a threat. This is a menace.

Κατανοώ την πίεση που μπορεί να αισθανθεί κάθε θποψηφιος όσο πλησιάζουν οι εκλογές. Έχω συνειδητά επιλέξει να μην απαντήσω σε σειρά επιθέσεων τόσο δικών σας όσο και της στενότερης αλλά και της ευρύτερης οικογένειας σας στο παρελθόν, επιδεικνύοντας αυτοσυγκράτηση.
Σήμερα όμως η απρόκλητη επίθεση σας, ξεπέρασε τα όρια και σας οδήγησε να με χαρακτηρίσετε μέρος του «βρόμικου κατεστημένου» και οφείλω να απαντήσω.
Πρώτα να σας θυμίσω τόσο εσάς όσο και στους παλιούς καλούς σας φίλους που σας ανέδειξαν, πως όταν εγώ πολεμούσα κυριολεκτικά με νύχια και με δόντια το βρόμικο κατεστημένο, εσείς συμπράττατε μαζί τους με κάθε δυνατό τρόπο για να με υποσκάψετε. Αυτό το Κατεστημένο λοιπόν κάποιοι το υπηρέτησαν σαν πιστά σκυλάκια, ενώ κάποιοι άλλοι το αντιμετώπισαν όρθιοι και το νίκησαν. Με πράξεις. Οχι στα λόγια. Και η νίκη μου αυτή έδωσε στον κόσμο το ΓεΣΥ που τόσο πολύ τρόμαζε εσάς και τους φίλους σας.
Σε ότι αφορά την προσπάθεια σας να εμφανίσετε την άσκηση της δικηγορίας από τον Νομικό οίκο του οποίου έχω την τιμή να προΐσταμαι ούτε λίγο ούτε πολύ, ως «κλεψία», επιχειρώντας να δημιουργήσετε ψευδείς εντυπώσεις κατά την προσφιλή σας πρακτική, διευκρινίζω ότι πράγματι το γραφείο μας ανέλαβε την εκπροσώπηση της ΕΤΥΦΑ εναντίον της Κινεζικής Κοινοπραξίας η οποία εξαπάτησε την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία στην Διαιτησία στο Λονδίνο. Πράγματι τις υπηρεσίες μας αυτές τις προσφέρουμε έναντι αμοιβής όπως μας «καταγγέλλετε» και όχι δωρεάν. Πράγματι από το 2022 όπόταν και αναλάβαμε αυτή την υπόθεση, τόσο εγώ όσο και άλλοι τουλάχιστον 9 δικηγόροι από το γραφείο μας αφιερώσαμε ατελείωτες ώρες για να κάνουμε το καθήκον μας και πράγματι χρεώσαμε συνολικά το ποσό αυτό από το 2022 μέχρι το 2026 (όχι μόνο ως αμοιβές αλλά και ως έξοδα). Όλα τα εν λόγω ποσά είναι δεδουλευμένα και φορολογημένα βεβαίως. Αν είναι παράλογα τα ποσά ή έστω υψηλά, ρωτήστε τους δικούς σας δικηγόρους (τον κ. Ιωαννίδη) να σας πει πόσα στοιχίζουν οι Διεθνείς Διαιτησίες στο Λονδίνο. Είναι από τους πλέον έντιμους συνάδελφους και μπορεί εύκολα να σας ενημερώσει και για το ύψος των αμοιβών αλλά και για το ποιόν μου.
Η πολιτική μου σταδιοδρομία είναι γνωστή και άφησε πίσω της έργο το ΓεΣΥ όσο και αν εσείς και οι φίλοι σας το πολεμήσατε.
Η επαγγελματική μου πορεία επίσης γνωστή και περιποιεί τιμή αρκετά εμένα και τους 25 και πλέον εργαζόμενους στο γραφείο μας.
Η λάσπη, οι εμμονικές επιθέσεις και ο άκρατος λαϊκισμός που επιλέξατε ως εργαλείο στην νέα σας καριέρα, αν και δεν με εκπλήσσουν, σας εκθέτουν ανεπανόρθωτα.
Συστήνω υπομονή μέχρι την ερχόμενη Κυριακή. Ο απόλυτος κριτής όλων μας είναι κυρίαρχος λαός. Η Δημοκρατία ας λειτουργήσει ελεύθερα.
