Thanks @tim_cook for the scholarship opportunity to attend this year’s #wwdc . At @joinpursuit the sole mission is to remove barriers while representing the under-represented as they enter the iOS professional tech industry. I know first hand how difficult such a journey can be.
There are some rough edges—for example, the interval times don’t quite add up to the expected 60-minute duration shown in the UI. I’ve seen similar quirks with server-based LLMs as well. Still, I’m excited about this on-device FoundationModels beta from Apple.
I've been intentionally logged out of ChatGPT or any other LLM to see when I would reach the Code Assistant ChatGPT free limit Apple provides, and after a few days, I finally got to it.
If watching the [Meet the Foundations Models framework](https://t.co/ftti36dUyp) session from WWDC25 and trying out tool calling using the `GetWeatherTool` example with the the Playground macro,, make sure your app is also [configured for WeatherKit](https://t.co/FLQiAhiGCz).
I can totally see a world where I give @OpenAI access to my @Strava data and I have full LLM natural language access to my data and can query at will, ex: show me my last 6 hour outdoor ride🤔
Work in progress for my next visionOS app update. Still need to get the GenAI prompt for the image a bit more in line with the text prompt, but pretty close so far.
This run felt solid throughout and yep loving my Stryde power pod 🎉.
Also, I couldn’t resist going to check the Apple Vision Pro being so close to the store in Central Park. I wasn’t able to get a demo but this thing looks beautiful 🤩. Can’t wait to try my app on it.
It was an absolute joy working on this v1 visionOS app and have it shipped in time for launch day launch 🚀. Such a fun and innovative platform to develop on. https://t.co/KCRJouUzwf #VisionOS#AppleVisionPro 🏃🏾♂️⛅️🥽
