@BramptonTransit@YRTViva However if you are transferring onto @yrtviva bus. You MUST ask your @bramptontransit bus driver for a printed paper transfer as YRT/VIVA buses do not yet accept contactless credit card payments. Keep this paper transfer with you for the duration of the 2-hour transfer window.
Just a heads up for @bramptontransit riders those who pay by contactless credit card. At this time @yrtviva DOES NOT accept payment taps by contactless credit card. If you're transferring to @yrtviva you MUST ask your @bramptontransit bus driver for a printed paper transfer.
@BramptonTransit@YRTViva Just to clarify everyone, if you're paying by contactless credit card on @bramptontransit you do not need a paper transfer as an electronic transfer (e-transfer) is stored automatically. (THREAD)
What's very amazing with those new @ttchelps streetcars is that the blaring streetcar horns sound like regular car horns which is hard to reconigze. They should update the sound of the streetcar horns and make them more distinctive @tracytongtv @acarterglobal @candace_global

@SamGreenwoodTNS@TTChelps Hi @samgreenwoodtns Do you have a TTC monthly metropass? If so this works on the TTC subway and TTC surface (bus and streetcar) routes in the TTC area only. It does not cover TTC bus routes operating in the YRT area (north of Steeles) (THREAD).
@coach4career @TTChelps When you board the TTC bus in Toronto tap your PRESTO on the PRESTO device to pay the TTC fare. Once the bus goes north of Steeles, the PRESTO device will changeover to deduct YRT fares. When you alight, (if you go past Steeles) tap your PRESTO on the PRESTO device again.
@coach4career @TTChelps Are you talking about some TTC routes that go north of Steeles Avenue into York Region Markham? Those routes do require a double PRESTO tap to pay both TTC and YRT fares (THREAD).
@BramptonTransit And there's even a bigger Santa Claus Parade in Toronto Sunday November 20, 2022. Leave the car at home and take public transit. Brampton Transit offers connections with TTC and GO Transit which will take you to/from the Parade. Visit https://t.co/ULGKqWb7RF to plan your trips
@TTChelps Hi @ttchelps On NYE, it says "Free service on all TTC routes in Toronto between 7 p.m. on December 31, 2022 and 8 a.m. on January 1, 2023" does this also apply on TTC routes (such as the 102D and 129A) that go north of Steeles into Markham York Region? https://t.co/Oz5Z8q3vAn
Hi @ttchelps@ttcplanning @ttcdesign @yrtviva just a question here: "Free service on all TTC routes in Toronto between 7 p.m. on December 31, 2022 and 8 a.m. on January 1, 2023" Does this also apply on routes that go north of Steeles Avenue into York Region (Markham) as well?
