@SelecaoTalk Great foreign ambassador for Brazilian football. He needs to be celebrated. I love watching Brazilian football for the stadium culture as much as anything, great to see Corinthians in the quarters even in spite of the way the club runs itself. Corinthians-Flamengo semi? Vamos lรก!
@patrickendrick Well, Napoli's 2023 Scudetto had nothing to do with Inter's deep CL run, 2025 unequivocally did. Inter played 19 more overall games between MD1-MD38 than Napoli did, it pisses me off to this day that Inter lost the Scudetto by a single point under such conditions.
@savoieforhart@azuremurkrow@Jomboy_@JomboyMedia Because it wasn't a force play in either of those manners. Reread what you posted and tell me what of that applies to last night. The runner at first already reached 1st base as a batter, they're not a batter at that point. These are different types of "force" plays.
@DonShelby__ I don't have the time or interest to reply in Spanish right now, but that's something Arda needs to have more trust in. So often I see him use the left foot whenever possible, even when it's not reasonable. The arc and weight on this pass is magnificent. Trust the right foot.
@Jon_Mackenzie I once knew someone who took that scene from Mad Men, the "that's what the money's for" scene, and somehow took the message from it that this is why he DIDN'T feel compulsion to let his subordinates know when they did good work. Like, he took it as a how-to guide. It was nuts.
@SaifNerazzurro They knew - or at least always had the excuse in their pocket - that no Pavard sale = no Romero signing. They pushed forward the PR of Romero because they know this summer has been a disaser anyway. Eventually they ran out of road to kick the can down. "Oops, can't do it, sorry!"
@EdenDassidy Seems kinda dumb to me that Hakan would need to surrender the armband upon Dimarco's arrival. It doesn't strike me as Dimarco pulling rank, it's probably just procedural, but if Hakan's captained the game that long I'm sure he can see it out for as long as he remains on the field
@macmuck11@SaifNerazzurro I dunno how it's possible that we absolutely cannot shed out deadweight, it's incredible. Other big clubs can find buyers for their shit, we can't. And the "they get paid well to live in a nice place" argument only goes so far; those are also (usually) true of other clubs too.
@Dave_509_ I think many of us might've only wanted him since it would show Oaktree aren't outrageously tight fisted to the point of madness. But I've never for one second had any hope this transfer would ever happen. Oaktree won't finance 40m or so for a 28 yo, ever.
@ManagerTactical@EdwinGames4 I can't imagine how little their Bundesliga viewership on ESPN+ must've been then seeing as how they didn't even pony up 20m/per to retain that. As someone who watched the Bundesliga every weekend on there, I was pissed to read that news.
@NFLosophy It's just that "MVP thru 6 games" isn't a thing. I'm not taking a dig at Baker, it was just a very good six game stretch that didn't sustain, not helped by having a shitty defense on the other side of the ball.
