Newcastle Utd& Ramsbottom Utd season ticket holder. Attended my first NUFC game in 1965. First domestic trophy win seen2025. The long, long wait is over.
@NUFCProgrammes Good to hear from you,Andy.
I've missed your early morning 'programme of the day' posts.
Looking forward to their resumption, when the time is right for you.
Take it steady.โฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธ
@LukeEdwardsTele Well said Luke. Your post puts things in perspective. I've had a season ticket for over 40 years.
I well remember the Bobby Robson era. I didn't want him sacked. But, to my eternal shame, I did leave the ground after that Wolves game without staying for the lap of appreciation.
@GeorgeCaulkin@ChrisDHWaugh Enjoyed listening to the Podcast, as always, on my walk to the newsagent this morning. (Yes, some of us still by newspapers!) That is with one exception-XG. What a waste of valuable airtime it is. Meaningless, fantasy football. Please be a trailblazer and ban it from the Podcast.
@old_toon@ToonPolls@NUFC@teamginola Yep I was at that game at Burnden Park, Alan.
Only 9 miles from home. Stood in the away end next to the Normid supermarket. Ginola was sensational.
@NUFCProgrammes Good morning Andy.
Thanks for the latest blast from the past. I think there's a typo in this one. Should that be Dave Hilley?
(Sorry to be pedantic, but it does prove I read what you write!)
Cheers.
