@Airports_ZA the parking situation at Cape Town P4/P5 is pathetic.
For months it always says P5 is full when it’s not, the payment points always have an issue (one of them not working), and paying through the app is useless because it doesn’t register at the boom.
@mweinbach@addan___ Is it not just the sheer amount of data that needs to be indexed? Files sitting at rest shouldn’t cause high CPU usage (and in turn battery life).
@SnazzyLabs Does this actually hold up to any scrutiny though? The only thing I could think that would affect system performance is background app activities.
So if you installed the same apps you had before, it should be identical.
Old temp file etc just take up space, not CPU cycles
@bryan_johnson@readswithravi Is that really true if you’re lying in bed with the brightness turned all the way down? My kindle brightness is on 2 or 3. It’s realllly dim.
@mweinbach It’s funny how Apple Pay was invested in America, the country that has probably the *worst* support for it 😂
Everywhere else you can tap for anything, split it any number of ways, and for any tiny amount
@BrandonButch It’s not really a bug, it will use the last app that was used to open that link. So if you ever click ‘open in web’ it will continue to do so.
You can fix it by copying the link into a note, then long press and open with the relevant app. Should only need to do that once!
