In an assault on the 1st amendment, Pride flags are now banned in Carroll County Schools. Instead of promoting equal access to LGBT students, The Board of Education has enabled fear and ignorance; the precise opposite of the purpose of school. Reverse this disgraceful policy.

Last night the Carroll County Board of Ed passed its ban on pride flags, giving in to the fringe alt right minority of parents and teachers. I’m angry but I’m hopeful. Because if the dozens of kids who stood outside in the hot sun are any indication, we will win in the end.
