It would be hard that first year but after that you have all the videos created. You could even have some of your students create videos themselves to demonstrate mastery. #edu903
What if you do not have a 1:1 technology model at school? How can you have all the students see the videos at school? Maybe the videos could be watched at home by most but the few who do not have the technology at home watch at school? #EDU903
You would need to teach students about appropriately posting questions to their peers online. It worries me that students would post things they should not be. #EDU903
@jksuter@AmyKiskaddon1 How do you push the students who do not need your help? The ones who will go through all of the content in the first day of class? I have a few students who would go home and do all of the work the first night? Could I have them as guides on the side?
Being able to pause the teacher (video) and rewind the teacher not only helps the students but also any other person helping the students with the work (parent, friend, LS teacher) #edu903
@ChristyEvans14 I agree! I think that the skill of working through a hard task is something extremely important for life long learners. If students never learn to persevere they never learn new things/skills.
Having 10 mins of class to watch and write down ?s about the video. Maybe the last 10 mins of class. So if they want to go home and find more resources/ answers they can do that before the next day's class. #edu903
