Using @Schoology this year? Blend your classroom using the "Individually Assign", "Grading Groups", and "Discussion Board" features! Check out https://t.co/4n1wZYO2Vg for an awesome infographic explaining these features! #fcpsblended#schoology#schoologyblended@ChrisHeinze
5th grade students at Jackson Davis collaborated with 2nd grade to take pictures of weathering and erosion around their school and upload them to a media album in #Schoology. Students used these images in their #GoogleSlides presentations!#collaboration#LifeReady#ESinnovate
By flipping content after class, students can engage in spaced practice by having early exposure to a topic during class, and more detailed coverage or case studies to enable them to consolidate their understanding. #flippedclass#edchat https://t.co/CJNt7s6QLx by @acethattest
@Tech_Ed_Teacher I agree! It's amazing how much it has grown over the past decade. I like this model, but need to transition it slowly so I don't get overwhelmed by creating all of the videos. I see myself trying it 1-2 times per unit for now.
@ChristyEvans14 Dickson I could see us using this model in our science classes! I like the idea of the centers, which we already do occasionally. We just need to add the technology center!!
@Alexand76347901 This would be great for our learning support students and teacher. The LS teacher would know what we were learning and review it during preview with all the LS students.
@rans0305 You could have them watch them during activities period and academic prep if you have computers, iPads, or laptops available. Or during class during independent work time.
Substitute or TBA? How do you write daily lesson plans or have them available if you are using the In Class Flip? Our school requires us to have a daily lesson plan following a specific format available on our desk so that anyone that comes in can teach our class.
I could see myself transitioning into the flipped classroom by trying the In class flip first!! I love doing centers in my science class, however the lack of technology would really be a downfall:(
How do you meet the needs of all students in diverse classes with pullout learning support, co-taught learning support, gifted, and emotional support students? My gifted are always done first and my learning support students may never finish.
#EDU903 Where do you save/store all of your created videos? We get emails all the time of lack of space on the server and we need to clear out our files.
