Just started @plusacumen's Adaptive Leadership course and this quote struck me:
“When leading adaptive change, you can only move as fast as the people around you.” —Alexander Grashow
Sometimes you have to go slow to go fast.

There are many pain points when having a baby, and dealing with government shouldn’t be one of them. We're in #Brisbane today with state and territory birth registries, health agencies and @HumanServicesAU to find ways to make things easier for parents and caregivers. #DigitalGov
Everyone in Canberra who's interested in trying to make government services better, here's an amazing opportunity to connect with others just like you! No excuses! #OneTeamGov#Canberra@AlexanderHaddad@CliveDRossiter
@V1NNY_Z @mulegirl It’s the maturity of the organisation. Velocity should be tied to outcomes and delivering on business value and vision. Shipping code is just an interim performance indicator not a definition of a developers role within an organisation.
@V1NNY_Z @mulegirl I guess this is more a general lack of focus on outcomes. In my experience most people value tangible deliverables or artefacts over the objectives and intended outcomes. As designers we shouldn’t be setting out to build apps or websites, our goals should be greater.
Pretty brilliant idea: getting rid of the much hated notch and an incentive to keep your phone in pure form (i.e. no case). The future looks bliss! #design#tech
Been thinking about what to say about leaving my job in #Ausgov and moving to the #UK. Hopefully this sums it up. Thanks @JanetHughes & @SDinGov speakers for the inspiration. Thanks @CliveDRossiter & team for such a meaningful 3+ yrs! #LongLiveTheBand https://t.co/Z81yhNHgS1
Join us for the first Canberra #designsystemmeetup sponsored by @DTA! Let's come together to share ideas around the creation of design systems and expose the hard work that's already been done in the field. https://t.co/qZsFjGZl6r
@cmcmgrand @amandakgordon Totally got to be fear! Fear of the unknown, fear of failing, fear due to lack of inexperience. Clients even taking calculated risks is rare
