Metaverse in NYT (2007): “John Maeda isn't real, nor is the island. He is the Resident, and the island is the Metaverse in the virtual world of the Second Life online game. Other works exhibited are a beige Apple II computer, and a dozen or so iPod Nanos.” https://t.co/mmvt7Tjdgf
People liked this so i polished it up and made it a skill
"run `npx skills add tanishqkancharla/flow-preview` and use it to show me the user journeys for _"
makes you a polished viewer where you can view all the branches a user might go down.
ORIGINALITY AS THE GOAL: Follow your curiosity, make something meaningful for others, and let *their* responses shape what you make next.
- Start with your own questions.
- Make for others, not just yourself.
- Treat feedback as fuel for discovery.
- Don’t let AI’s instant answers end your curiosity.

We used to buy things made one at a time.
Mass production made products cheaper and more accessible, but largely identical.
What if the future takes us back to a world where everything is one-of-one?
Autumn Moon is a limited drop in collaboration with @kelin_online & @angelaloh09 built on that idea.

I made some realistic fire with Opus 5.5
this is a real 3D combustion sim with 6.1 million cells, the flame colors are from blackbody physics + sparks and embers
no assets and no sound files were used
Nine more lessons from my 3D book about energy, now covering the whole GCSE energy topic: kinetic, gravitational and elastic energy, heating, power, efficiency, energy resources and conservation of energy.
Built with Opus 5.5 and Three.js. The full book ↓
This book is basically a cheat code for logo design, so I turned the whole book into a site so yall designers and devs can grab every mark as svg. 1,504 marks and counting

hey hey hey 🔥 Introducing Mosaic Studio
a little bespoke, web-based generative animation engine that helped @soleio put the cherry on top of the new @firstofkind series

This is Pele, my new rendering library for diagrams and charts, compatible with the latest Mermaid syntax.
- 100-500× faster than mermaid.js
- 6× smaller bundle
- No dependencies
- Easy to theme
- Responsive to device width
In pursuit of making Obsidian insanely fast and cohesively designed, I always found the Mermaid library to be too big, too slow, and too hard to theme. Pele will be the new renderer in the next version of Obsidian, but you can start using it now.
Pele [ˈpɛlɛ] is named after the goddess of volcanoes and fire. It's open source under the MIT license. Try the playground!
@kitasenjudesign It's the 30th anniversary of @johnmaeda's 12 O'Clocks! This project and his Reactive Square were what made me want to enter the field. In 2016 I captured GIFs of his clocks, since the apps required an OS9 emulator to run.
I added a new /state-machine skill to the collection.
It renders any component you want in all of its states on a throwaway page with mock data.
I enjoy working like this a lot. It makes it very easy to work on more complex components.
