1. مساندته واحتضانه ودعمه لحركات المقاومة في فلسطين ولبنان ضد العدو الإسرائيلي، وهو موقف تفرد به عن سائر الأنظمة العربية الأخرى كلها.!
2. رفضه للدخول في اتفاقية سلام مع إسرائيل والتطبيع معها في مقابل انسحاب إسرائيل من الجولان، كما هو حال كلاً من مصر. والأردن
وكنا نختلف معه في:
1.عدم توجهه لتحرير الجولان المحتل طيلة عشرات السنين وتفويت فرص كثيرة كان بامكانه فيها فعل ذلك، بالإضاقة إلى سكوته على القصف المتواصل من العدو الإسرائيلي في السنوات الأخيرة واكتفائه بالاحتفاظ بحق الرد، مما أدى إلى تمادي العدو الإسرائيلي.!
2. الأسلوب القمعي الذي كان ينتهجه في مواجهة معارضيه، وهو للأسف الأسلوب المستخدم من قبل أغلب الأنظمة العربية.!!
فهل ستعمل السلطة الجديدة في سوريا على تبني محاسن النظام السابق، وتجنب مساؤه..؟؟!!
ننتظر ونشوف.

حملة الاعتقالات والاتهامات التي تطلقها السلطة في صنعاء لا شبيه لها إلا في كوريا الشمالية، وهي لا تحدث إلا في البلدان التي يسيطر فيها النظام على كل تفاصيل حياة الناس ومشاعرهم كما وصفها چورچ أورويل في روايته 1984.
سلطة البطش والقسوة تحت حكم "الأخ الكبير" لا صوت فيها إلا صوته ولا صور إلا له ولا خطابات إلا من فمه ولا سياسات إلا ما يناسب مزاجه المشوش.
السلطة التي تديرها اجهزة المخابرات لا يمكن الثقة بما تقوله وتصرح به وتنشره، لأنها ببساطة اجهزة مهمتها تكميم أي صوت مخالف ناهيك عن الصوت النقيض لنبرتها، وعملها هو تخوين وتهميش الغير.
كم هو محزن ومؤلم ومقرف ان تصبح حياة كل مواطن يمني مرتهنة لروايات لا يصدقها إلا أبله، ولا يروج لها إلا متعصب متخلف فكريًا.
اي عار يلحقه باليمن هذا النظام البشع الذي يحيل كل معارض، أو حتى مختلف في هندامه وأسلوب حياته، إلى متهم وخائن وعميل وجاسوس.
مثل هذا النظام يمكن له أن يعيش لفترة لكنه بتصرفاته البشعة يحفر قبره سريعا ومعه كل من ناصره ودافع عنه وبرر له مثل كل هذا القبح المقيت.
يومًا ما، قريب جدًا، سينفض اليمنيون غبار هذه المرحلة الاسوأ في تاريخه، والتي لم يتمكن الائمة في احلك فترات حكمهم أن يصلوا إلى هذا المدى من القسوة واللا أدمية.
والأمر لله من قبل ومن بعد.
