Claiming hezbollah shot pregnant women in the belly is the result of being an iq-less syrian, nothing more
Saudi Arabia continues to suffer severe blows from Yemen's Houthi rebels, who are successfully enforcing an aerial embargo on Saudi airports.
In the last two days, Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport has been struck twice by ballistic missiles, resulting in a total of 12 deaths and over 300 injuries.
The primary reason for the difficulty in intercepting missiles and drones launched from Yemen is a critical shortage of interceptor missiles, stockpiles have been depleted at an unprecedented rate during the conflict with Iran.
Furthermore, there is a lack of air defense batteries capable of covering the entire Saudi territory, given its vast size.
Additionally, according to Bloomberg, Saudi Arabia has grown frustrated with the limited military assistance provided by its Western allies, these allies have effectively left Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to fend for himself, according to some reports, he is forced to move cautiously between heavily guarded, bunker-equipped palaces due to fears of assassination.
Meanwhile, a return to normalcy remains a long way off, a new NOTAM issued a few hours ago states that Riyadh airport will remain closed at least until October 17, a date likely to be extended further.
Imagine how concentrated and immense Iran's effort were to supply a Yemen under blockade with the necessary components
➡️ that enabled such sustained long range firepower
That's true strategic planning
And the Saudis just watch and pray Ansarallah to go out of missiles & drones
Iran is sending oil to Russia through the Caspian sea for sanctions-free export, and collecting 10-20% fees on GCC exports through the Strait of Hormuz
Meanwhile Ansar Allah is demolishing the house of Saud and liberating (Saudi) Arabia - + offsetting any relief on the US economy intended through Russian fuel sales
Total strategic dominance - in this moment i am euphoric
@amir_harati@MerruX Transferring oil to smaller vessels costs time and money, and kpler said iran are taking tolls, over 20%, which makes barrel price go up even if its getting past hormuz
In recent days, Iran has been implementing a new strategy regarding its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
As I reported some time ago, the IRGC had already increased the frequency of drone and anti-ship missile attacks against vessels traversing the strait via the Omani route, however, they have further escalated the naval blockade.
In fact, a few hours ago, they announced that from now on "the handling of offending vessels will not be limited to the Strait of Hormuz, and any vessel that passes through an unauthorized route will be pursued throughout the region, and its punishment will be certain."
This means that the entire Persian Gulf is no longer safe for commercial shipping, indeed, in the last 48 hours, three oil tankers have been struck outside the strait, one near the coast of Qatar, one at the Fujairah anchorage, and another just recently near the coast of the UAE.
