پنجگور میں پاکستانی فوج کی رہائشی آبادی پر مارٹر گولہ باری کے نتیجے میں مزید تین ب��ے زخمی ہوگئے۔

ذرائع کے مطابق، گزشتہ روز پنجگور کے چتکان علاقے میں پاکستانی فوج کی جانب سے داغا گیا ایک مارٹر گولہ لال محمد کے فرزند صدیق بلوچ کے گھر پر گرا، جس کے باعث تین معصوم بچے زخمی ہوئے۔ زخمی بچوں کو فوری طور پر اسپتال منتقل کیا گیا، جہاں اُن کا علاج جاری ہے۔

قابلِ ذکر ہے کہ اس سے دو روز قبل ہوشاب میں بھی فوج کی مارٹر گولہ باری کے نتیجے میں پانچ بچے زخمی ہوئے تھے۔ زخمیوں میں یاسمین ناصر، طاہرہ خالد، درّین خالد اور آسیہ شمبہ شامل تھیں۔ بعد ازاں، یاسمین ناصر اپنے زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے دم توڑ گئی۔

جاں بحق بچی کے اہلِ خانہ اور زخمی بچوں کے لواحقین نے سی پیک شاہراہ کو بند کرکے شدید احتجاج کیا اور ان واقعات کے خلاف کارروائی کا مطالبہ کیا۔

Day 7 and still no information regarding the whereabouts of the seven Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) members taken after the 12th November peace jirga at the Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

It should not take a full week to confirm where these citizens are being held, under what authority, or in what condition. Their enforced disappearance raises serious concerns about due process, human rights, and the continued misuse of “plain clothed” individuals to silence a peaceful organisation.

Once again, the individuals missing are:

Hanif Pashteen
Noorullah Tareen
Adnan Wazir
Habib Wazir
Farman Khan
Irfan Khan
Gohar Pashteen

These PTM members pose no security threat and hold no sensitive information. Their ongoing detention now appears entirely arbitrary, and the lack of transparency only heightens concern for their safety.

If the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) or any other state institution is holding them, a public confirmation of their location and well-being, along with their immediate release, is both expected and necessary.

During a session of the provincial assembly, PTM (Pashtun Tahafuz Movement) leaders @Noorullah_PTM and @HanifPashteen_ refused to stand during Pakistan’s national anthem. They were the only ones who did not participate in reciting the anthem. In Pakistan’s political culture, protest and dissent have always been regarded as sensitive yet legitimate democratic rights. Recently, during a meeting of the provincial assembly, PTM leaders Noorullah Tareen and Hanif Pashteen staged a symbolic protest by remaining seated during the national anthem, sparking widespread debate on social media.
🕊️ Nature of the protest
Standing during the national anthem is generally considered a gesture of respect in any country. However, when an individual or group chooses not to do so, it usually represents symbolic resistance against certain state policies or attitudes. The act by PTM’s leaders is being interpreted in this context as well. Their stance is that until human rights violations, enforced disappearances, and injustices in Pashtun regions come to an end, they will prioritize “human dignity” over “symbolic respect” for the state.
