Outrageous that 84 junior doctors at @UHSussex are STILL waiting for their full August pay, now over a week late.

Doctors are desperate, can’t pay bills, and some are being bailed out by charities. Who will want to work here if they don’t get paid in full and on time?

Colleagues - consider the reasons why you are doing an ABG on elderly, frail patient who is at the ceiling of their treatment. What will it offer you in that context? Can you just monitor SpO2? ABGs are highly distressing and frequently unnecessary in the above.
