If you are wondering how close you can get to an Ethiopian wolf when you’re riding a horse, the answer is VERY close…!

#EWCP wolf monitors use horses to visit packs that are far from camp and it also helps to check the ear-tags. Bonus: the view from a horse is amazing!!

An incredible moment where the true size of a bull elephant was put into perspective.

I thought this 24 year old female was pretty big until a bull in musth came along...

In early March, a female elephant named Malawi sadly passed away, leaving behind her young calf who unfortunately ran away before he was able to be rescued.

Earlier this week we received a call that a young calf was spotted alone by the river.

Miraculously it was Malawi’s calf

The best moment of the past week was the morning we found this little guy 🐘

This miracle calf has defied the odds by surviving in the bush for almost four weeks without his mother’s milk. The calf disappeared after his mother, Malawi, died of natural causes but is now recovering at @RetetiSanctuary. More here: https://t.co/wXV3KAtJOx
