We are pleased to announce the release of a new report by ALLATRA Global Research Center: “Nanoplastics. A Systematic Risk Analysis for Human Health, Ecosystems, and the Environment.”

This publication is one of the broadest open-access syntheses on the subject, bringing together 592 cited sources. What makes this report distinctive is that it goes beyond documenting pollution levels or isolated harmful effects. It focuses on a more fundamental question: what makes nanoplastics so biologically active in their interactions with living systems, including the human body?

The report examines why nanoplastics should not be viewed merely as fragmented plastic waste, but as anthropogenic particles with distinct physicochemical activity. It highlights mechanisms through which these particles may interact with proteins, cell membranes, biological barriers, and ecosystems, and outlines potential implications for human health, environmental monitoring, and future research priorities.

Particular attention is given to the need for:

Eric Adams im US-Senat | Interview für ALLATRA

ALLATRA hatte die Ehre, den ehemaligen Bürgermeister von New York City, Eric Adams, beim Gipfeltreffen „Familien wiedervereinen: Opfer von Putins Krieg”, das im US-Senat stattfand, zu treffen. Es war ein großes Privileg, im Rahmen dieser wichtigen Veranstaltung, die der Ukraine und den ukrainischen Kindern gewidmet war, mit Eric Adams zu sprechen.

In diesem bewegenden Gespräch blickte Herr Adams auf seine Zeit als Bürgermeister zurück, sprach über seine persönlichen Erfahrungen bei der Unterstützung ukrainischer Flüchtlinge und über die tiefere Bedeutung von Solidarität mit Menschen, die mit Not und Leid konfrontiert sind. Zudem teilte er seine Gedanken darüber, was die globale Gemeinschaft heute auf menschlicher Ebene tun kann, um moralische Unterstützung und aufrichtige Fürsorge für die vom Krieg betroffenen Menschen zu zeigen.

Er erläuterte seine Vision für die Zukunft, einschließlich seiner Pläne, sich weiterhin in humanitären, gesellschaftlichen und internationalen Initiativen zum Wohle Amerikas und der gesamten Welt zu engagieren.

🇺🇳COP16, Saudi Arabia: New Ideas, Technologies, and Solutions from ALLATRA

How can we unite efforts to overcome the global climate crisis? Participants of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (COP16), held from December 2 to -12, 2024 in Riyadh, sought answers to this crucial question.
The ALLATRA International Movement, whose partnership project is the global initiative Creative Society, played a significant role at this forum.

🌐 The movement's representatives actively worked within the Blue Zone of the Summit, held strategic meetings and discussions with delegations from over 200 countries, including Mongolia, the UAE, Costa Rica, and Morocco. The topics they raised addressed key challenges of our time: land degradation, water scarcity, and the impact of climate change on humanity.

The scientific community and the general public with interest received the presentation of innovative approaches presented by ALLATRA volunteers. Particular attention was paid to the use of Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) on a global scale. These devices have already proven their effectiveness in producing clean drinking water and have immense potential for solving problems such as ocean plastic cleanup and climate stabilization.

💡Among the many prominent delegates at COP16 was 17-year-old Saudi Arabian inventor Alice Loay. Her device, capable of producing up to 10 liters of water per day, became an example of how youth can influence the future of our planet. ALLATRA volunteers interviewed her, where she shared her inspiring journey.
