@TweedlesMummy @BlurtAlerts@stacie_swift I ordered mine from the blurt online store here: https://t.co/MXzb7FrU6C I'm afraid you missed the wedding though ;-)
Finished my #100milesforMind yesterday. In total I ran 24 times over 37 days, totaling 23 hours and 53 minutes of running. Since breaking my elbow I ran, on average, a marathon every week. Not bad for a girl who used to skip school rather than do PE! #globalrunningday2018
@aarmstrongcrad I'm glad it worked! Screencast-o-matic works well to make it more interactive too I think, so it's clearer what I am talking about. Apparently it can be embedded into Canvas so that would make the whole thing work even better!
Feedback release day today! Time to see what students think of the audio feedback. Some really good assignments read, so hopefully lots of students very pleased with their grades.
Volunteering is good for society and for your CV. Some really interesting opportunities here linked to mental health and well being. https://t.co/nPdhGNbNcZ

@YoungMindsUK I'm in the process of arranging some research around teacher perspectives on childhood mental health needs. Would that be something you guys would be interested in?
I've shied away from mentioning my sexuality at work since starting in Higher Education for fear of being labelled as "the gay lecturer". The need for #LGBTQ role models in HE overrides that. I'm going to try harder to be an #outandproud role model moving forward #PrideMonth2018
Icing on the cake was that @degeneres_lee started following me this afternoon (!). If ever there was a sign from the universe that being #outandproud can make a difference in society, she is that sign.
My perspective was shifted by an article I read featuring @Kikiarcherbooks about role models in schools. I didn't meet/ talk to an out gay person until I was an adult, if I had perhaps I would have understood myself better sooner.
Really sad not to be finishing my #100milesforMind today (as was the original plan). I haven't done badly - 78.6 miles so far. Should be able to get those final few miles ticked off over the next week.
