Last week I moved into the East Ayrshire Family Wellbeing Team. I am going to miss my days and the buzz of being single school based but I am looking forward to connecting with the famimies in the different campuses in EA.. What a year! 😉

309 warm socks sorted into year groups, 309 hot chocolate and glove sets made up, 25 Christmas jumpers and 4 big bags for the foodbank.. Embracing @croftfootschool "Croftfoot Children's Right to be Warm" week.

💥Tins of Tuna, sweetcorn peas, chopped tomatoes, beans and baked beans.
💥Packs of spaghetti, pasta, rice, noodles, cereal, cocopops and longlife milk.

We are launching our 1st Christmas Jumper Appeal. We aim to let every child in the school choose a Christmas jumper/T-shirt. As we head into a tough winter financially, we hope to ease some of the extra pressure around Christmas time.

In conjunction with Croftfoot Parent Partnership and in keeping with the schools eco status, we thought it would be a great way of reusing our outgrown, pre-loved jumpers/t-shirts.
WHEN…. Jumpers/t-shirts can be handed into the school any day until Friday 25th November.

@ajcorrigan @educrochet Is it an easy pattern to follow? I'm about to be a GG for the 3rd time 🤗🤗🤗❤ I managed a beautiful 2ply shawl for No.1 which no.2 inherited 😉 but this is son no1's first so I think I need my needles and hooks out again 😄

@ajcorrigan We attended a beautiful, but the saddest funeral last week. Our cousins 16yr old son took his first and last ecstacy tab, it killed him😞 There are no words for the deep pain in our hearts 💔 A fabulous boy with his whole life ahead 😞

We will soon be running the first of our Croftfoot Primary School @croftfootschool Swap Shops. Our first swaps will be wellies and then Halloween costumes and finally Christmas jumpers🙂swapping, sharing and caring.

Thank you to Asda and their U18 funding. We have been very fortunate to have received £500 towards essential school clothing. I know our children will appreciate having lovely fresh, new items of clothing when they need it most.
