Shout-out to everyone who is showing up -- however you are able, including online & digitally -- to fight against genocide.
It will take all of us. It's taking all of us. It needs all of us.
Don't give up. We can't give up. We just can't.
Make no mistake the battle against mask bans is a battle against eugenics. Disabled people have always been acceptable targets and collateral. Everyone who’s resisted mask-wearing throughout the pandemic is complicit. Public health is political. Wear a mask
If you ever wanna know why capitalism sucks, think about how many people you've known who wanna open a 24 hour coffeeshop and bookstore (with a cat) if they ever get rich vs how many rich people ever actually open a 24 hour coffeeshop and bookstore (with a cat).
Nothing new to say but it bears repeating: it’s one of American history’s most Orwellian obscenities to see an anti-genocide movement that is in fact one of the most Jewish mass movements in US history slandered as antisemitic by one of the key guys doing the genocide.
Your support for human rights is either universal or it doesn’t exist. If you only care about your own rights, then it is not rights, but privilege you care about.
So either you believe in equality, liberty, security and dignity for Palestinians, or for nobody but yourself.
I am a mom + I don’t need to imagine “what would you do if this Palestinian child was yours?” I don’t need to replace their faces with the faces of my kids. They are my kids by way of being alive. THE CHILDREN ARE OURS. Weep because these children were meant to create the future.
I love noticing patterns... themes... thinking about the interconnectedness of it all... connecting the dots in my mind... putting the pieces together... analyzing... thinking... contemplating...
People aren’t turning to social media for answers about their mental health because it’s trendy.
People are in desperate need of adequate equitable healthcare that takes patients seriously.
So until we can get that, stfu about people who have to self-diag out of necessity. Thx!
You're not serious about ending homelessness if you don't address the systemic barriers into housing.
Application fees, credit checks, making 3x the rent, no pets, giant deposits.
It's hard for a housed person to get into an apt. - imagine how hard it is for someone in a tent.
#SCOTUS has released its opinion in #Brackeen. A case that challenged a 40-yr-old law to prevent family separation in Native communities & threatened tribal sovereignty. In a victory for tribes, the Court upheld #ICWA.
I hope folks realize that deforestation that happens within Canada is one of the many reasons for wild fires. Dismantling natural vegetation to then replace them with mines and logging roads leaves behind dry and flammable debris, which then gives fuel for fires to spread.
