Nobody worships the Imams, we don’t curse every Sahabi, and tahreef has always been a fringe view. There has never been a point in time, within our timeline or within general Islamic heresiology, where tahreef was a majority opinion.

If the Usul al-Deen for Shi’ism is worship of other than Allah, cursing every single person who with the Prophet SAWW ever, or believing that the Qur’an is corrupted, I wouldn’t follow such a religion either. But it’s not. Which is why I do.
