As a former “master level” vibrational sound therapist, who used sound to perform past-life regressions on clients, I now denounce this work. In sound healing we use specific frequencies that ease the brain into a theta state. That’s why it feels good. The theta state makes you nice and soft and open to “Spirit”. A sound healer may invite her spirit guides before you arrive to the session so there’s no protection, no keeping them out with a prayer or setting an intention, because they’ve already been invited in by the practitioner. In a group, the entire room are sitting ducks for entities seeking a suitable host. Some practitioners try to give it a Christian spin and say the Our Father, as if it will magically protect you. It won’t. Demons can quote Scripture too.
