PIAA DISTRICT II MEDIA DAY AT MOHEGAN ARENA! 🎤🏀

Today, PIAA District II hosted its annual Media Day at @MoheganArenaPA, where all 22 teams participating in this week’s district championship games were invited. Schools in attendance got the chance to walk the court, take team photos, and participate in short interviews with local media.

Mohegan Arena General Manager Stephen Poremba gave a preview of this year’s championships, noting the special milestone of having 18 different schools represented across all 11 games!

@PIAAD2 Chairman Frank Majikes celebrated the 10th anniversary of the championships at the arena, thanking President Dr. Pat Patte of the Luzerne County Convention Center Authority and @ASMGlobalLive for their continued support. He also presented a plaque to Poremba for his contributions in making the event a success.

The partnership with John P. Moses Pediatric Rehab Centers at @AlliedServices_ was also recognized, with a plaque presented to their representatives, celebrating their ongoing support over the years.
