Had such a fun time talking about pandemic health messaging & prosocialness at @PsychScience this weekend! My first time trying out the '#betterposter' format - ended up being such a timesaver & had so many great conversations 😌 #apschi22#APS2022

@isabella_mcdo@hannahrenec@PsychChatter@AcademicChatter Totally understandable! I'm sure what I would have done if I couldn't continue w/ my lab bc there are so few paid RA positions. Feel free to reach out if we have overlapping interests. I have COVID thesis data sitting around & I'm always happy to help facilitate projects :)
@hannahrenec@isabella_mcdo@PsychChatter@AcademicChatter But as long as you can make the case that the skills you learn during whatever post-bac you did carry over to what you want to do in grad school, I think it can certainly be a strength!
@hannahrenec@isabella_mcdo@PsychChatter@AcademicChatter Thx for the tag! @hannahrenec and I have been talking MS vs RA positions. I'm not sure how helpful I'd be bc I did a 1/2 year post-bac w/ my undergrad research lab then went on to grad school. I do think getting pubs/presentation opportunities from my lab was super helpful
Looking forward to giving my first in-person poster presentation at #aps2022longbeach! Come by poster 19 tonight to hear about the association between personality & symptom burden in patients with cancer @connectAPS

After managing to show him off in every lab presentation and Zoom meeting I could for the past few weeks, I've decided it's finally time for my sweet little grad school pup, Rupert, to make his academic Twitter debut #gradpup 🐶💕
