Alpha claims students learn at +2x the speed.

We found this sole metric to be very flawed. Guides didn’t care how you learned, what topics the kid was struggling in. They were just focused on the number.

Plus, many children were behind grade level expectations.

Once a class has too many of these students, the algorithm needs to refill the classroom with more kids who have more potential to 2x.

Maybe that’s why Alpha has to grow so aggressively even in the eyes of HUGE growing pains.

Alpha needs an inflow of new students who can 2x..

@DanielFNash EVERYONE we know had their kids spending significant time at home working. But isn’t it great to market to the public that Alpha doesn’t need 6 hours to teach your kids…that’s because that responsibility now falls on the parent, at home.

Alpha’s headline product is “2 Hour Learning.”

Our kids worked mornings and evenings. Often under incredible stress because they were pressured daily to hit the school-set XP targets.

2-hour learning is a farce.

@WayneVaughan @benjaminjriley And what happens when you share with the school that your young child is struggling because they’re constantly having a new guide? They tell you to get comfortable with change. After all, Joe has to chase growth at all costs.

They don’t care about the kids.

@WayneVaughan @benjaminjriley Not to mention that at the new campuses Guides are constantly changing. Always leaving because they’re not good enough, or being moved to a new campus to support Alphas growth. All at the detriment of the student who has to get to know a new guide several times a year

When parents complain or become too negative Alphas leadership ensures that those parents and students are removed and silenced.

- Pressure kids to answer surveys favorably
- Blame children for their educational results. Often encouraging parents to get their kids assessed for learning deficiencies

@benjaminjriley @benjaminjriley they have plenty more to hold back. For example, why don’t they release data to prove that their students actually are learning only 2 hours a day. #alpha won’t, because the students don’t. They work many more hours than that.
