Reminder: When New Zealand lost preferential access to its traditional export market (the UK), its economy and standard of living cratered and took 20 years to recover.

This despite a transition period and their massive tariff free quotas into the EU (which the UK won't get).

@eddie_rippeth @bbradleymp As a Brit living in the US, I find the food standards here noticeably (and irritatingly) lower. As do all Europeans I know who live here. Meat and fruit decidedly larger yet less nutritious and tasty.
