@SusanWa02526665@ThoughtBookish@DaveTait176 My great-aunt paid £6k a week & they took every single penny. Which wouldn't be so sickening if she was had at a room & level of care that would warrant £6k a week, but her room was tiny & she was left for hours facing a wall. We need to loose the word ‘care’ from care home.
@JeremyVineOn5@thecarolemalone@nelufar@theJeremyVine Carole 100% is trying to blaming immigrants, her acting all coy and pretending otherwise just demonstrates what a snake she is. Labour is wrong to take the winter fuel allowance away from vulnerable pensions, but blaming another venerable group isn’t the answer.
@MartinSLewis It’s tricky because you said this in a public forum; all they have done is reshare it. I’m not sure where that stands in terms of the law. You're a well-known & respected figure, it's not surprising they would try to weaponise any negative comment you share about the opposition.
@ChrisGPackham@taylorswift13 What’s your thoughts on the Welsh countryside being industrialised and turned into windfarms? We’re losing huge amounts of natural habitats & it’s destroying the ecosystem for short-term gain (avg life span is 30yrs). We’re voiceless against large powerful corporations.
@spena2k10@SGIDandfac @CallBuyerCletus @MartinSLewis Or the lead character’s parents die (as in all Disney films 🤣) Maybe they couldn’t afford the cost of medical bills. (And possibly another reason why Hannah has to work, so she can feed her siblings)
@SkyNews He’s a kid! Leave him be. Are you so short of news that you have to report on this?!? If you need it I can send you some suggestions for where journalists should be focusing their efforts.
@JeremyVineOn5@OwenJones84@TheMrLoophole@ClaudiaLizaTV Not sure they fear us, I don’t think they even think about us. If you can afford it of course you’d send your kids to private school - smaller classes, longer days, wider extra curriculum activities, good school meals, networking opportunities - why wouldn’t you want that.
@shankysanghi @Arcee_TG @JeremyVineOn5@OwenJones84@TheMrLoophole@ClaudiaLizaTV Private education students benefit from smaller classes, wider extra curriculum activities, better school meals and often longer days. It’s rather unfair to assume that they are there because they’re ‘good students’. & Everyone deserves a good future regardless of wealth.
