No teacher wants to be on strike tomorrow. We enjoy teaching. That's why we do it. But we can't go on getting progressively poorer. We can't go on letting essential support for pupils disappear. We can't go on watching colleagues leave the profession due to stress. We just can't.
@MrBoothY6 Classes can be supervised by non striking staff, but if a member of a union they cannot be asked to cover a lesson. My union isnt striking, so on strike day i can be asked to ensure a class are safe, but cannot deliver content. Most reasonable schools will respect this unuon rule
