Meet Cody, a truly one of a kind terrier. Cody is a truly unique little terrier who’s looking for a special person to offer him a long term foster home, with the hope that it could become permanent in time. He came to us as a stray, arriving with his littermates, and it was clear from day one that Cody isn’t your average puppy.He’s polydactyl, meaning he has extra toes on all four feet, and he has no tail, something we believe he was born without. He’s already had corrective surgery for his cherry eye, which will need to be monitored as there’s a chance it could reoccur. Cody also has a rather wobbly walk and an unusual way of standing. Xrays have shown curvature in his limbs, though his growth plates haven’t yet fused. This means there’s a chance his condition could change as he grows, so further monitoring and possibly more x rays or vet treatment may be needed.Because of these existing medical conditions, it’s important to note they won’t be covered under pet insurance.
We’re looking for someone who’s not only prepared to support Cody through the joys and challenges of puppyhood but who’s also able to take on any future medical needs he may have.Cody is every inch the cheeky, curious puppy.
He’s not yet housetrained and doesn’t seem to know any commands, so he’ll need guidance, structure, and lots of patience. He would benefit from someone with time to help him learn the ropes and who can offer him a stable, loving environment while we monitor how he grows and develops.We are hoping to find a foster home with a view to adopt, meaning if all goes well and Cody continues to thrive, he can stay with you for life.If you are interested in adopting Cody, please fill in an enquiry form below.

@DaranLittle Coconut oil helps as it is a form of energy the brain finds easier to utilize. Purina did do a dementia care food for senior dogs with that in it. I’ve just looked on Google… it’s called Age Defense 😊
