NEWS: Today we are thrilled to announce the oversubscribed final close of Ada Ventures Fund II at £63m/$80m.

The £63m/$80m fund is dedicated to breakthrough ideas across the fund’s three themes: climate equity, healthy ageing and economic empowerment. We will continue to make pre-seed and seed investments between £250k and £1.5m

And we’re already on our way.

For @AmberMichelleH her drive to found @researchgrid was borne of personal experience. Prior to starting the company, she was a medical research expert with a PhD in Biomedical Neuroscience from UCL.

“It’s madness that we have some of the smartest people in the world wasting hundreds of hours on admin, filling in forms and tables.”

Dr Hill is also driven by a desire to tackle some of the inequalities present in the healthcare outcomes system today. “I want to bring more people into clinical trials. More women, greater age ranges, and more diverse groups in terms of race and ethnicity.”
