Saw this on Instagram, good visual aid to show what a volume of 500ml look like inside a BVM (average BVM =1500ml) Consider this when ventilating patients. Estimate weight then consider 6-8ml/kg. *Individual cases will vary as will clinical presentation

Calling in the rapid ascent of Helvellyn in the Lake District.
2200ft climb, 1.2miles. Flown in 3mins 30s!
Walking to the summit is over an hour. For critical care casualties the difference is big!
