When I was a lawyer at Gibson Dunn in D.C., we took our summer associates to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. A survivor spoke to us and said something that stuck with me:

Lawyers need to know the holocaust did not begin with camps. It began when Jews were removed from institutions - above all, legal institutions. Judges stripped of their robes. Lawyers disbarred. Then, when law-groups were Judenrein, they codified laws that made discrimination systematic and "legal."

First, you remove the Jews from the institutions. Then, Jews can be discriminated against without representation.

On Monday, Mayor Mamdani announced his 18-member Advisory Committee on the Judiciary. The Committee was promised to be "truly reflective of New York City."

Not one of the 18 is Jewish.

Not one Jewish attorney, former judge, or law professor - in a city where one in eight residents is Jewish and even Justice John Leventhal, recommended by the State's Chief Judge, was rejected.

It is estimated that over 50% of the New York bar is Jewish. That means there is a 0.0004% chance of no Jews being selected to the Committee.

Mamdani’s marginalization of Jews has been ongoing, and few voices on the Left have spoken up.

On Day 1, Mamdani revoked the IHRA antisemitism definition (top priority); he changed the NYPD guidance protecting houses of worship, eliminated Jews from the City's immigrant-heritage map, called for the arrest of the prime minister of the only Jewish state, and now created a Judenrein Judiciary Committee.

My grandmother, Leah, survived Nazi Germany. Before the laws, before the violence, she told me how she was pushed out of her high school groups. Then, once excluded from all activities, she was bullied and marginalized.

We are already seeing Step 2 in NYC. Two weeks ago, on a Jewish Holiday, two men were stabbed outside Upper West Side synagogues - one wearing a kippah- and yesterday, Jewish students were attacked. Every 26 hours, there is a hate crime against Jews in NYC.

In NYC, there is a concerted effort to disappear Jews from public life and leadership.

No one on the Left is speaking out. If this discrimination was happening to any other group, the chorus would be deafening.

To be clear, Jews will find a way. Many are already taking their talents elsewhere. When white-shoe firms shut Jewish lawyers out, they built firms that now dominate. Cardozo, Louis Marshall, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg all found a way despite discrimination.

But NYC will be worse off without us. A city government that is judenrein - cleansed of Jews – does not just hurt the Jews, but hurts the city.

The tragedy is not just that Jews were left out of the institutions. It is that the institutions were left without the Jews.

Our daughters will be the ones who benefit from those willing to stand up for common sense. As the mother of a volleyball player who traveled with my daughter and her team throughout South Carolina and the southeast, I know how dangerous it is to have boys playing in girls’ sports. I also know how hard these young women practice to improve their game.

I am glad to add my name to these important bills. I will not sit back and allow biological men to participate in women’s sports. Too many female athletes have been subjected to unsafe conditions and lost out on their right to fair play.

Oh look, the Democrats are having another full-blown meltdown because their decades-long grift is finally imploding.

For years they’ve been running the biggest structural con in American politics: three massive frauds dressed up as “democracy.” First, the 2020 Census ... the one their own Bureau admitted undercounted Texas, Florida, and red states while overcounting New York, California, and blue strongholds. Seth Keshel proved it shifted 16 electoral votes and 15 House seats straight to them. Stolen. Flat out.

Second, they turned illegal aliens into political cannon fodder ... counting non-citizens for House seats and electoral votes so sanctuary cities could steal power from actual Americans. Lose citizens, import illegals, gain congressional seats. Genius.

Third, racial gerrymandering ... the disgusting scheme that packed Black voters into safe Democrat ghettos to lock in 21 guaranteed seats, all while screaming “voting rights.” The Supreme Court just torched that with Callais.

And now? The final kick in the teeth: Americans are fleeing their disasters in droves. Texas gained 2.56 million, Florida 1.92 million. New York lost 201,000, California 200,000, Illinois 102,000. Net gap? Nearly five million people ... and the political power that travels with them.

But sure, keep screeching “Jim Crow 2.0” and “voter suppression” while your own voters are U-Hauling out of your hellholes. The map isn’t just turning red.

It’s exposing you.

The stolen representation era is over. And the panic is delicious.

Among them a 13 year old girl. A 7 year old boy.

They were killed when a bus slammed into stopped traffic.

The driver was an immigrant from China who does not speak English.

Can't read road signs. Can't communicate with law enforcement.

New York State gave him a commercial license anyway.

Democrat-run states handing out CDLs to unqualified drivers need to be held accountable.

The federal government is now investigating New York's licensing records.

It's long overdue.
