Chandrababu Naidu Credits Himself for Satya Nadella’s Rise to Microsoft CEO

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu claimed that his initiative to bring Microsoft to India played a role in Satya Nadella becoming the company’s CEO.

“We brought Microsoft here. Nadella worked there and became CEO, that too because of our initiative,” he said, linking Hyderabad’s IT development to Nadella’s global success.

*Fact* : Satya Nadella moved to the U.S. in 1988, seven years before Naidu became Chief Minister in 1995. His rise to the top at Microsoft was the result of " his own hard work and career in the U.S", and had nothing to do with Naidu’s initiatives.
