RBI Ombudsman complaints jumped 13.6% to 1.33 million in FY25

Top issues:
• Loans & advances (29.25%)
• Credit cards (↑20%)
• Mobile/electronic banking

Banks faced the bulk of complaints (81.5%), with private banks’ share rising. Disposal rate stayed strong at 93%.

@soltoshi_x @saynotoloans @TRAI If you use telecaller as a free user you will get more spam calls , it is better for paid users only. I uninstalled it after that getting much less spam calls.

Great move by @TRAI

New anti-spam rules mean Jio, Airtel & Vi’s AI Caller ID systems will now auto-flag pesky spam callers & take action — even without complaints. Repeat offenders face 1-year blacklist & no new SIMs.

Hopefully this finally stops those endless spam calls. Thank you for this much-needed corrective action!
