A question to all Indian Banks & NBFCs:
Is the public shaming, screaming, and refusal to show mandatory credentials (DRA Certificate, Bank Authorization) by recovery agents as shown in this video justified under your compliance policies? @RBI guidelines explicitly state otherwise.
If no financial institution steps forward to clarify or defend this behavior, it will be taken as an admission that such practices are direct, illegal violations of the Fair Practices Code.
This will serve as a public advisory to all borrowers regarding their legal rights.
We seek an explicit public clarification from principal lenders who bear vicarious liability for their outsourced agents.

Thank you all for the incredible support and motivational words!
Let us re-iterate our core principle: every borrower has a fundamental legal obligation to honor and repay their loans. However, compliance with financial duties does not strip individuals of their fundamental dignity.
If there is even a single violation or breach of decency in the recovery process, we will not remain silent.
We are fully prepared to expose such unethical tactics to our growing community here on social media, putting the institution's public reputation directly at stake.
We simply refuse to tolerate the harassment of innocent people.
Stand strong, know your rights, and let’s keep hold of accountability!
While I acknowledge your perfunctory expression of regret, the sheer harassment inflicted by these relentless, distressing communications necessitates far more than mere administrative forwarding.Could you explicitly clarify whether your institution maintains a legitimate, legally binding contractual agreement with this specific third-party entity? Furthermore, please demonstrate how these egregious actions do not constitute an unambiguous, flagrant violation of the stringent regulatory guidelines laid down by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regarding third-party engagements and customer protection. Be advised that @saynotoloans and #recoveryharassmentsupport stand in absolute solidarity with our friends and folks facing such duress. Any continuous, unchecked harassment by your recovery agents will be systematically exposed to the public domain.I expect a comprehensive, legally rigorous response rather than another boilerplate platitude.
Claim compensation for delay in issuing NDC or NOC.
Did you fully pay off your loan but are still waiting for your NOC/NDC?
By law, banks and NBFCs MUST issue your closure documents within 30 days! If they stall, here is how you hold them accountable:
The ₹5000/Day Penalty: Under RBI mandates, if a lender fails to return physical assets or clear charges within 30 days, they must pay you ₹5,000 for every single day of delay. Note: This strict daily timeline penalty applies to secured/collateral loans.
What about Payday/Instant Loans? If your unsecured payday lender is withholding your NOC, they are violating the RBI Fair Practices Code. You CAN still claim heavy compensation for credit score damage and mental harassment!
Your Day 31 Action Plan:
1️⃣ Email a formal grievance to the NBFC's Grievance Officer.
2️⃣ If ignored, file a complaint on the RBI CMS Portal or take them straight to Consumer Court for "Deficiency in Service".
Don't let rogue lenders ruin your CIBIL score. Demand your legal documents and your compensation!

@UtsavGamerOf@IDFCFIRSTBank They stay quiet thinking that people will forget it and some do..but we don't have any intentions to leave it away like that only. To top it up, they have the audacity to offer 1k bribe that too twice !!
@bajajlife_in deserves a special award—not for service, but for the world’s fastest "grievance" closure. They don't read complaints; they just hit 'Close' and pray you go away. Customer service? More like customer ignored. Selling targets are met, but shame? Total dead on arrival. 👏 The Insurance Ombudsman is biased, so no point in approaching them again.
I am hearing this since more than two weeks that We are working under the IRDAI Token number 07-26-010970 and SR number 141817354 but there has been no resolution.

@ICICIPruLife The issue remains completely unresolved—and no, my silence is not an acceptance. True professionalism and ethics mean confirming resolution with the customer, not assuming it; right now, you lack both.
Has @HeroFinCorpLtd, by some extraordinary dispensation or esoteric privilege, been granted absolute immunity from the regulatory mandates of @TRAI and the @RBI? Pray tell, do you possess a valid, legally binding outsourcing covenant with your third-party agency, and are they scrupulously adhering to the sacrosanct protocols prescribed therein, or is this blatant non-compliance an exercise in unmitigated impunity?
