Update: DFO-shared contact first said someone would come in 1 hour. After we tracked the snakes for 4 hours, he called. When told we had lost sight of them one by one, he said he doesn’t get paid for this, and won’t come.

This is why an official rescue process is needed.

Today, two 6–7 ft snakes were seen mating in my garden and then entered a wall burrow/hole area.

DFO/Forest official numbers were not picked up. One private number found online asked for ₹1,200. Now private callers are quoting ₹2,500, claiming the Forest Dept will send them.
